This is one of the best Chinese takeout places in Santa Clarita! The portions are massive and the food comes out piping hot, which is a plus for me.
My husband and I came on a very busy afternoon and got a couple of combo plates. Pay attention to the menu in that all combos come with rice. The menu listed at the restaurant is displaying that the combos come with fried rice. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. You must request fried rice or you'll just get steamed white rice. Keep that in mind...I will definitely be back when I need a nice takeout meal. There's plenty of parking and tables to eat at. :) -

From the same friend that encouraged her to try Bayshore Seafood Market, my wife was also given a glowing report of Golden Wok. And I was the recipient of another surprise new find brought home for dinner. We shared an order of Mixed Vegetables with Chicken. Which also comes with Chow mein and Fried Rice. She also requested a side of Orange Chicken.
She had been informed of their sizable portions so we shared. And that one order was more than enough for the both of us, with leftovers.
The verdict is in and we found Golden Wok to be a gem of a find. Fresh vegetables and proteins, with rice just as nice. The Orange Chicken was exceptional. With one exception being the chow mein, which I found a bit dry and lacking in flavor.
Being that it was takeout that my wife brought home, I can't say much about the decor or ambiance other then my wife noting that the restaurant is quite small with probably less than 10 tables. But definitely now on our Santa Clarita Chinese cuisine return list. -

The places was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. There were quite a few people waiting for their orders. The wait wasn't too too bad since I had called in my order. I had ordered a la carte orders of the chow mein, teriyaki chicken, and mongolian beef. All tasted just okay...nothing too special. They do give generous portions I must say.
